Invest in What Makes Impact Possible.

Seattle Foundation connects generosity with community knowledge, trusted relationships, and coordinated action. Through Journey to Joy, we are helping build a region where everyone can thrive. Donors can give independently, work with a philanthropic advisor, or trust the Foundation to research and direct resources. As a convener, conduit, advisor, and partner, Seattle Foundation brings people, organizations, knowledge, and capital together to advance community-led change.

Supporting Seattle Foundation strengthens the expertise, stewardship, relationships, and capacity that make lasting philanthropy possible. Together, we can advance Joy by expanding opportunity, strengthening communities, and creating a more resilient and equitable region for all.

Transforming Systems,
Growing  Joy

Our collective progress is evident: free bus fare for all youth, expanded childcare subsidies for working parents, and access to doulas for growing families. We have supported key ballot initiatives, such as the Seattle Housing Levy renewal to ensure more affordable housing, services for low-income residents, and homelessness prevention. Our efforts have helped secure:

Over $5B in public investments in Greater Seattle for children’s issues, affordable housing, accessible public transit, and climate justice, driven by a combination of Seattle Foundation’s grantmaking, advocacy, and board endorsement of key ballot initiatives since 2016.

$20M through the Fund for Inclusive Recovery for all 3 phases, supporting partners like UTOPIA, which convened a Climate Justice Summit, and Casa Latina, which created a healing and leadership space for immigrant women.
